In I Corinthians 12:1 Paul makes sure that the author understands that preaching is a primary component of God's plan to share the Gospel. Paul also describes preaching at times as foolishness. Not because God hasn't ordained it but rather because it doesn't always make sense to us how God uses it to redeem the lost. Here today in Acts 2 we see that Peter filled with the Holy Spirit preaches a sermon that perhaps seems foolish to us but brings salvation to thousands.

III. Peter Explains the hope that is in Jesus. vs 22-36
a. He explains that Jesus is the Messiah. vs 22
b. He explains the Death and Resurrection of Jesus 23-32
c. He explains the exaltation of Jesus. vs 33-36
