We will have worship in the sanctuary this Sunday @ 11:00AM (please review the guidelines that have been put in place, click here). The service will also be live streamed on YouTube (click here) and Facebook (click here)!  Hope you can join us.

Good Morning Church Family! Over the Past 18 months your leadership team has been working diligently to prepare WHBC for incorporation. During this time we have been working hard to fulfill the church's desire to incorporate the church and adopt a new constitution with a leadership team model. This past Sunday we were pleased to present that proposed Constitution to you all for your review. There will be several upcoming dates that you need to know about.

1. On September 13th and 20th following our morning services the leadership team will be presenting and explaining the proposed Constitution to anyone who would like to participate. During these meetings we ask that you all would submit any questions that you have in writing to be answered at a meeting on September 27th.

2. On September 27th following our morning services your leadership team will be answering the questions that you submit during the previous meetings.

3. The proposed date to vote on the Constitution and Incorporation of WHBC is October 4th following the morning service.

I hope you are as excited about seeing this process come to fruition as we are. I truly believe we are preparing WHBC to continue to minister effectively for another 50 plus years! If you are unable to attend on Sundays to receive a copy of the proposed Constitution and By-laws then please feel free to drop by the church to pick up a copy or call the office and we will mail you a copy to read over or deliver one to your home. Thanks again for your participation and your prayers as we work through this historic moment at WHBC!

Until He Comes,

Pastor Jon

These are the following regulations that we will adhere to in order to worship in the sanctuary

In order to maintain 6 feet of space for social distancing certain pews and sections of pews in the sanctuary have been taped off to accommodate the maximum amount of people. There will be ushers at the entrance to help seat family groups in the space that best fits. If seating runs out we will have over flow seating in the fellowship hall where we will show the service on live stream.

We will have a separate entrance and exit. We ask that you come in through the entrance under the steeple. We will exiting through the other sanctuary doors.

We will not be handing out any bulletins or media in order to keep contact to a minimum.

There will be no nursery this Sunday.

We ask that if you have one and are able to wear a mask, please do so. Masks will be provided if you do not have one.

We ask that if you are feeling unwell, have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please watch from home.

Serving Christ. Building Faith. Praising God.

At Western Heights Baptist Church, we are driven by our call in Scripture to be a faithful bride to Jesus Christ.  Ultimately, our goal in ministry is to glorify Christ faithfully in all that we do, providing our people with a church body that functions together to bring glory to the name of Jesus through worship, discipleship, evangelism, and service.   For more on our beliefs, check out our What We Believe tab, and come visit us soon!

At WHBC, we value the salvation and discipleship of our young people.  Because of this, we take seriously our opportunities to share the Gospel with children and students, and to walk with them as they accept Christ and grow in the Christian life.  From infant nursery to student discipleship, WHBC takes seriously the growth, safety, and care of our young people.  Make sure to check out our various children and student ministry opportunities at the Get Involved and Upcoming Events tabs!

At WHBC, we recognize that the Christian life is about more than just a salvation moment.  As believers, we are called to grow in knowledge and obedience with Christ through personal and corporate discipleship.  WHBC takes seriously this call to discipleship, offering multiple opportunities each week for adults to take part in discipleship through intensive Bible study, prayer, and corporate fellowship.  WHBC also has multiple gender-specific ministries such as Women on Mission and the Brotherhood that help to foster discipleship amongst those who are living life together!  Check out our Get Involved tab for more information about how to get started with discipleship opportunities at WHBC!

At WHBC, we have an active women's ministry to disciple the ladies of our church family as well as our community. We do our best to provide a variety of ways to help our women grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Stay connected on our Women's Ministry page and join our Western Heights Women's Ministry Facebook group to keep up with all that is happening.

...and let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
