Reacting to the Resurrection
Matt 28:1-10
Intro: Today on Resurrection Sunday we celebrate and commemorate the death burial and most importantly the resurrection of Jesus from grave! Jesus sacrificial death and His resurrection changed the world. It also sparked some powerful emotions in the individuals who were impacted by it directly. As we examine the impact that His resurrection had on those witnesses we should also ask ourselves what reaction we have to Jesus as our Resurrected King?
I. Jesus followers mourned His death. vs 1
II. Jesus resurrection was a fearful thing for everyone. vs 2-7
III. Jesus resurrection is a joyous occassion for believers. vs 8
IV. Jesus resurrection caused spontaneous worship. vs 9
V. Jesus resurrection gives His people hope. vs 10
