It's not hard to find ourselves feeling hopeless in the world we live in. Our pursuits of worldly things always end with us feeling unfulfilled. We read the headlines on a daily basis and the supposed goodness and evolving nature of man is less apparent everyday. As we look in the mirror we recognize that we are one day closer to our own destiny with death and yet in the middle of all of the chaos and confusion there is hope! That hope is found in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ that brings eternal hope to the seemingly hopeless perils of this world.
I. Without Jesus our sin is hopeless. vs 1-6
II. Without Jesus our shame has no end. vs 7-13
III. Without Jesus the curse is more than we can bear. vs 14-19
IV. Without Jesus the inevitability of death is forboding. vs 20-24
V. With Jesus we have Hope despite the Hopelessness of this World. vs 15
