Luke 14:28 reminds that before we attempt anything for the Lord we have to consider the cost. In this passage Paul is talking about the privilege and the pain associated with serving the Lord. The great honor of serving the Lord is always balanced with the cost of serving him. Paul uses himself as an example of just how challenging it can be to answer the call of Christ. So as we study the word today let's all consider the cost of saying yes to the call.
