2 Corinthians 5:9-11

Have you ever heard the old proverb "if you aim at nothing you will hit it every time"?  If we allow ourselves to go through life with no real purpose then we will reap the consequences of that choice in death.  However, if we decide to live a disciplined life with the aim of seeing God Glorified in every aspect of our lives we can certainly expect to reap a rich reward.  Whatever we choose to do in life will be judged by the Lord one day.  So our greatest goal should be to live a life that's well pleasing to Him.

I.   The greatest goal we can have is God's Glory! vs 9

II.  The reality of judgment should keep us striving for that Goal! vs 10

     a. The redeemed will face the Bema seat of Christ.

     b. The lost will face the Great White Throne of Christ.

III. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. vs 11
