The Beginning of the End
Mark 14:27-42
It's easy to overlook the suffering Jesus endured leading to the cross in favor of His suffering on the cross. However, the anticipation of the cross and the temptation to walk away at the most pivotal moment were very real. Today we will examine the depth of the Jesus suffering in an attempt to help us understand our own.
I. Jesus was facing a lonely road. vs 27-31
II. Jesus was experiencing extreme affliction. vs 32-34
III. Jesus faced real temptation. vs 35-36
IV. Jesus still demonstrated loving concern for others. vs 37-41
V. Jesus ultimately chose the Father's Will. vs 41-42
