It should not surprise us that Jesus is questioned about the things that He had done while in Jerusalem. His actions in the temple directly challenged the authority of the religious leaders there. Those same leaders assumed that He didn't have the authority to challenge them when in reality as the King of Kings Jesus is the only authority that matters.
