I will never forget taking Timothy to a Nationals baseball game and one of the players giving him a ball after realizing it was his birthday.  Many people in that position don't have time for a child.  However, that player took time to care about someone who offered him nothing.  As Jesus travels to Jerusalem for the triumphal entry he still finds time to care for a blind man before He is coronated by the crowd.  The Compassion of Jesus should challenge all of us to care for those around us.

I.   Jesus is a Compassionate King. vs 46-52

     A.  Jesus cares for people of faith. 

     B.  His power is greater than our struggle.

II.  Jesus Compassion led to His arrival in Jerusalem. vs 1-7

III. Jesus had Compassion despite the crowd. vs 8-10

IV. Jesus Compassion did not change His Appraisal. vs 11
