When we come to Jesus we have to be sure to come on His terms. God doesn't accept what we think is reasonable rather He expects us to surrender to His Truth. Here this young man comes to Jesus thinking he has it all together and in reality he is far from salvation. It's important for us to allow the Lord to examine our hearts and determine what's good and what's not. If not we may find that we are guilty of having a self seeking faith.
