Dealing with the Reality of Divorce?
Mark 10:1-12
The subject of today's text is a sensitive one for the majority of folks in the room. It is challenging to address the subject of Divorce in a room where the overwhelming majority of people present have been affected by divorce in some way. However, the fact that so many are affected by Divorce demands that we wade into this text despite the risk. We live in a world where 51 percent of marriages end in divorce and that means that we cannot avoid the subject no matter how challenging. So we will work through this text together in love and seek the Lord's will for His people as we address the issue of Divorce.
