After Jesus had fully explained the challenge of leaving the things of this world behind to follow Him, He gives the disciples a glympse of what is to come. I find it comforting that Jesus doesn't tell us to leave it all behind without a hope for the future. As Jesus reveals His Glory to a few of the disciples He is letting them know that His Kingdom is worth all the suffering and sacrifice we might endure.
