As we have journeyed thorugh the book of Mark Jesus has been not only been performing miracles and proclaiming the Gospel. He has also been training the apostles for the day that He would leave them in charge to grow His church. Here Jesus sends them on a challenging mission, further developing them as leaders of His church and faithful followers of Christ.
I. We need to develop our ability to share the Gospel. vs 7
II. We need to develop our awareness of spiritual warfare. vs 7
III. We need to develop our dependency on the Lord. vs 8-9
IV. We need to develop our contentment with our circumstances. vs 10
V. We need to develop our discernment. vs 11
VI. We need to develop our obedience to the High Calling of Jesus Christ. vs 12-13
