To be an authority is to carry some special knowledge on the subject in question. The omniscience of Jesus means that whatever He commands, whatever He says, however He judges, and however His power is demonstrated is authoritative and beyond question. As we serve the Lord together we surrender to His authority and serve in His authority for His Glory!
