WESTERN HEIGHTS CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Forming Mature Kids in Christ
FOCUS ON LEARNING AND DISCIPLESHIP
Utilizing Orange Curriculum, WHBC places a strong focus on the discipleship aspect of Children's Ministry. Our goal is for our children to be mature in their knowledge of the Bible, and developing from a young age the ability to live out what they believe about God and His Word. Children meet on Sunday Mornings for Large Group Discipleship and Sunday Evenings for Small Groups. We believe that Children's Ministry is more than just glorified babysitting; we want to see our children show a biblical maturity that is reflective of a vibrant faith!
TEAMING UP WITH PARENTS
One of the fundamental aspects of a thriving Children's Ministry has to be the teamwork that exists between the local church and the parents. Churches only see children for 1-3 hours a week, but parents have significantly more opportunity (and responsibility) to disciple their children. At WHBC, we want to team up with the parents to provide them the best opportunity for consistent discipleship. One of the ways we do that is through the Orange "Parent Cue" app, which can be found on your app store! Also, please join our Children's Ministry Facebook page at and check out the Events page for any upcoming Children's events!
